Kim is a long-time veteran of the advertising industry. Her early days were spent learning the ropes of the business in account management for the golden arches, McDonald’s. At the turn of the century, she embarked on her journey in agency marketing and new business development. Over the decades, she led agency pitches for marquee brands including: AT&T, BMW, Burger King, Kitchen Aid, Timberland, and Progressive Insurance amongst a myriad of others. Her most recent stint as a consultant assisting agencies with better new business practices led to AAR Partners tapping her to counsel marketers and agencies in their mutual efforts to drive brand growth.

The majority of her new business career was spent leading multi-disciplined teams and multi-agency business pitches across global networks including: FCB, Grey, Havas and Carat. She also understands the mindset of boutique agencies from her days at KBS and 22squared. Most of all she understands the importance of equitable contracts, developing rigorous but appropriate processes and forging meaningful relationships. Kim’s new business prowess helps marketers find the right marcom partner to suit their brand’s specific needs – and helps agencies with their new business challenges.

When she’s not working, Kim enjoys exercising, cooking and playing piano (though she’s not even close to playing as well as “AARLisa”). However, there’s nothing that gives her more joy than spending time with her 10-year-old daughter, Reese. As a melanoma survivor, Kim also devotes time to raising skin cancer awareness by contributing to related articles in popular health and beauty publications, participating in national TV news segments and being an advocate on social media always reminding people of the many ways to keep their skin safe.

Kim received her BA from West Virginia University and can be found every Saturday during football season cheering on the Mountaineers.
